In August of 2013, I collaborated with Origin recording artist Les Demerle and his quartet featuring Bonnie Eisel, Chris Luard, and Johannes Bierregard to put together a tribute to Cannonball Adderley and Nancy Wilson. "Stars Fell on Alabama" was famously recorded on "Cannonball and Coltrane" (Emarcy, 1959).

During My time at Indiana University, I had the honor of being in Dr. David Baker's big band for two years. Along with the rest of the wonderful musicians that come out of his program every year, I owe a lot to DB. I am forever grateful for the time I was able to spend with him.
